Medical therapeutic Qigong according to Liu Ya Fei

In 2006 , in collaboration with Shou Zhong and Liu Ya Fei, the Nei Yang Gong Zentrum Berlin commenced with the first three-year advanced training program in medical therapeutic qigong. Four further such courses have since taken place. Since 2020 the training has been conducted by a team from the Nei Yang Gong Zentrum. Liu Ya Fei, inheritor and proprietor of the form, stays in contact, contributing via live video sessions. The demand for the course has remained strong. The current program, now in the sixth edition, consists of three elements:

Basic Training / Foundation course

Entry Requirements: Two years of qigong training, or related disciplines (tai ji quan, wushu).

Subjects: Over eight weekends, participants will be taught the basic principles of qigong using exemplary short exercises. Then follows instruction in the initial major form component, the exercise series: “Strengthening muscles and regulating Qi”. This is complemented by TCM basic knowledge relevant to qigong practice and didactic content.

Aim: To build up a solid basis for participants without former qigong training.

Duration: The current basic course is running from January 2024 to March 2025. It is set up as a modular system, so it can be attended as an entire course or alternatively with modules on specific weekends.

Advanced Training / Course I – systematic and further training in the Nei Yang Gong system
